The 4 Endings: Savior, Survivor, Debtor, Fallen

The two decisions that decide your ending, a full route chart for all four, and what each one actually pays out.

Last updated: July 27, 2026 Wipe / patch: 1.0.6.5

Escape from Tarkov has four endings — Savior, Survivor, Debtor and Fallen. Which one you get is decided by two choices made chapters apart, and the game gives you no way to take either of them back.

There is no rewind. Once an ending completes, that profile is finished with the story. Seeing another one means a profile wipe or a run through Prestige. Read the whole route before you commit to a decision.

Every ending awards its own dogtag, armband, achievement, profile icon, main menu background and hideout decoration set. The material rewards differ enormously — which is worth knowing before you pick, because the "best" ending narratively is not the most profitable one.

The two decisions that matter

Everything funnels through two points:

  1. The armored case, at the end of Falling Skies — keep it, hand it straight to Prapor, or pretend you never found it and hand it over anyway. This sets the price Prapor charges you later.
  2. Mr. Kerman's offer, in The Ticket — accept or refuse. This is the explicit point of no return, and it is what actually splits the four endings.

Route chart

TourFalling Skies

Ask Mechanic about the downed plane during Tour, then work Falling Skies to the end and retrieve the armored case on Woods.

Decision 1 — what do you do with the armored case?

Keep it · hand it to Prapor · pretend you never found it, then hand it over. Keeping it raises Prapor's later fee from 300,000,000 ₽ to 500,000,000 ₽; giving it away means you have to win it back from Lightkeeper during The Ticket.

The Ticket — opening stretch

Build Intelligence Center level 1, talk to Mr. Kerman and Prapor, then get the case open: Mechanic needs the Experimental signal jammer from The Lab, which unlocks the Armored case craft at Workbench 1. Unpacking it gives you Kruglov's RFID keycard and the RFID card manual.

Decision 2 — Mr. Kerman's offer. Point of no return.

Refusing here permanently closes three of the four endings.

Refuse Kerman → Survivor

  1. Go to the Terminal entrance and swipe, then talk to Prapor.
  2. Pay him 300,000,000 ₽ if you gave him the case, or 500,000,000 ₽ if you kept it.
  3. Finish his tasks in time: digitise the four TerraGroup evidence folders to an SSD, 50 kills on Streets of Tarkov, 4 PMCs in a single raid.
  4. Miss the deadline and he takes your Kappa container as payment instead.

Accept → agree to dig → Savior

  1. Activate Kruglov's keycard: TerraGroup Labs master keycard from Kruglov's safe in The Lab (R22), 30 minutes survived on The Lab, then 40 Physical Bitcoins to Mechanic.
  2. Agree to find dirt on TerraGroup and build Intelligence Center level 3.
  3. Deliver 8 of the 9 major evidence from They Are Already Here (36 minor pieces optional).
  4. Reach and hold 4.0 reputation with Fence, clear his co-op assignments, reach 0.4 standing with the BTR Driver.
  5. Build Solar Power level 1.

Accept → agree, then stop → Debtor

  1. Same start as Savior, but hand in no more than 2 major evidence and refuse to continue when Kerman asks.
  2. Ask the traders how to leave; the route passes to Lightkeeper.
  3. Collect topographic intel documents on Lighthouse, Woods, Customs, Ground Zero and Factory, and record them to a military flash drive.
  4. Kill 30 PMCs on Woods and hand over 100 PMC dogtags.
  5. Stash six cultist amulets in the marked room on Lighthouse, sourced from marked rooms on Customs, Streets of Tarkov (×2) and Reserve (×3).

Accept → refuse to dig → Fallen

  1. Accept Kerman, then refuse to look for evidence on TerraGroup. Ask the traders how to leave instead.
  2. If you kept the case in Falling Skies, clear Prapor's tasks first: 50 military or advanced electronics, a Theta / Epsilon / Kappa secure container, and 40 full-durability repair kits.
  3. Hand Prapor the Case with dangerous cargo.
  4. Pay him 1,000,000 Dollars.
  5. Collect his hash codes and build Solar Power level 1.

The finale is the same for all four.

Reach the entrance pathway to the port Terminal, swipe your keycard at the intercom, get inside, pass the security check and escape. Bringing a Secure container Alpha-1 full of TerraGroup evidence is optional, but it is the point of the Savior route.

What each ending actually means

Savior — "Escaped from Tarkov for humanity"

The canonical good ending. You trusted Kerman, the evidence landed, TerraGroup's mask came off, and the truth got out with you.

Rewards: Savior dogtag, "For Humanity" armband, achievement, "Peaceful Sky" menu background, the Savior hideout set — and by far the largest material payout: 200,000 Dollars (40,000 in PvE), a T H I C C weapon case, a T H I C C item case, ballistic plate / magazine / medicine / money cases, two ammunition cases, a Red Rebel ice pick, and three each of the AS VAL MOD.4, PKP, Milkor M32A1 MSGL, SWORD Mk-18, Saiga-12K and TKPD, plus stacks of high-tier ammo and grenades.

Debtor — "Escaped from Tarkov but didn't escape from yourself"

You started down the evidence route and stopped halfway. Kerman writes you off as unreliable, TerraGroup survives and grows, and you leave carrying a debt.

Rewards: Debtor dogtag, "Lighthouse" armband, "Storm Front" menu background, the Mercenary hideout set, 120,000 Euros (30,000 in PvE), a T H I C C weapon case, ballistic plate / magazine / money cases, two ammunition cases, a Red Rebel, and three each of the AXMC, AA-12 Gen 2, RShG-2, MCX-SPEAR, TRG M10 and M60E6.

Survivor — "Escaped from Tarkov and survived"

You bought your way out through Prapor and never touched the conspiracy. The city burns behind you and TerraGroup is reborn stronger.

Rewards: Survivor dogtag and armband, achievement, "Bleak Horizon" menu background and the Survivor hideout set. No cash or gear — which makes sense, since you just handed Prapor your entire fortune.

Fallen — "Escaped from Tarkov to fall in the darkness"

You never believed Kerman. Tarkov collapses, TerraGroup returns posing as the rescuer, and you disappear into the dark.

Rewards: Fallen dogtag, "To Fall in the Darkness" armband, "Dusk of Humanity" menu background, the Fallen hideout set, 10,000,000 Roubles (3,000,000 in PvE) and a money case.

Picking one

Ending Kerman The grind Payout
SaviorAccept, deliver 8 evidenceHeaviest — Fence 4.0, Intel Center 3, 40 BitcoinBest by a wide margin
DebtorAccept, then stop at 2Heavy — 6 amulets, 100 dogtags, 30 PMCsStrong
FallenAccept, refuse to digModerate — costs a secure containerCash only
SurvivorRefuseLightest, but 300–500 million ₽Cosmetic only

If you only ever do one: Savior is the intended "true" ending and pays for the effort several times over. If you are short on time late in a wipe, Fallen is the cheapest route to a real payout — provided you can spare a secure container.

Ending descriptions and reward lists follow the official Endings page; the route steps follow the objective list on The Ticket. Both are worth re-checking after any major patch.
